This Please faux fur coat with a dense pile is worn roomy, with a hood that really stays in place and a buttoned front rather than a zip. It is the warm winter coat, without the look of a puffer.
Over straight jeans and boots, it sees you through the cold days from December to February; worn open over a black or ecru roll-neck, it warms up a city outfit. Folded down, the hood forms a voluminous collar at the back that adds shoulder to the figure.
The long, glossy faux fur is assembled so that no seams show through the pile. The lined hood lifts without flattening your hair, and the large patch pockets, also lined, are deep and genuinely useful.
