Oversized double-breasted short coat in denim blue – Please

This short Please coat has the shoulders of a reworked pea coat: broad, rounded shoulders, a large lapel collar and a two-button double-breasted front. It stops at the top of the thighs and falls straight, with plenty of ease through the back and sleeves.

Its jean-blue shade goes with almost everything: chocolate or burgundy trousers, raw denim, a grey midi skirt. Its oversized volume lets you slip it over a blazer or a chunky knit without feeling tight, from the office to the weekend.

The cloth looks like heathered denim, with a light twill texture, but keeps the weight and softness of a coating fabric. A touch of elastane adds comfort in movement, and two large rounded patch pockets sit low on the front.

Denim reaches all the way to coats this winter, in a cloth version. The cut is deliberately roomy: your usual size gives the intended volume, one size down a more measured fall. Available from XS to M.
