High-waisted wide-leg trousers whose box pleats start at the waistband and run down to the hem. They add movement while keeping a clean vertical line, and the flat waistband defines the waist precisely.
With the short mandarin-collar jacket in the same fabric, they form a modern suit, perfect for the office. They also work with a tucked-in shirt and a fine jumper over the shoulders, or with a camisole and court shoes for dinner.
The marled fabric combines 65% polyester to hold the pleats, 32% viscose for drape and 3% elastane for comfort when seated. It barely creases and keeps its pleats all day. Zip and button fastening, side pockets. Machine washable.
Softer than palazzo trousers and more structured than fluid trousers, wide pleated trousers are the basis of this season's suit. They go as well with a short jacket as with a long coat.
