Denim

Denim is where Please plays, and the base of the everyday wardrobe at Imperial Gallery. Wide-leg jeans, balloon shapes, palazzo, flared, turn-up chinos, belted crops, culotte skirts: the volumes change, the waist stays high or raised.

The fabrics run from raw denim to Tencel-blended cotton, softer and more fluid. Light stretch holds its shape at the knee and machine washes without losing colour.

Every day, a pair of wide-leg jeans with a shirt jacket or a waistcoat is a whole silhouette. At the office, denim is the base that makes a tailored blazer work — the most common way to wear a structured jacket today.
